Wizz Discount Club - Everything You Need to Know & More! (2024)

Looking at joining the Wizz Discount Club by Wizz Air? I’ve been a Wizz Discount Club member on and off since 2017, and it’s saved me a lot of money on Wizz Air flights.

The Wizz Discount Club is an annual subscription that helps you save on Wizz Air flights and extras. The subscription is available in two formats:

  • Standard (€34.99 per year)
  • Group (€69.99 per year)

Both Wizz Discount Club Standard and Group have the same benefits. However, the benefits in Standard can only be used by you and one companion, while in Group, the benefits can be used by you and five companions.

As such, the Wizz Discount Club Standard is best for couples, and the Wizz Discount Club Group is best for families.

My Wizz Discount Club Experience

I’ve been a Wizz Discount Club member on and off since 2017. Here’s how I benefited from the Wizz Discount Club over one year, from 2022 to 2023.

I joined the Wizz Discount Club as a Standard member when buying flights from Leeds to Warsaw.

The flights were set to be £21.99 each way, £87.96 return for myself and my partner. However, if I joined the Wizz Discount Club, the price dropped to £12.99 each way, which worked out to £51.96 return for the two of us, a saving of £36.

Joining the Wizz Discount Club as a Standard member cost £31.50, bringing the total amount payable to £83.46.

Straight away, on one return flight, I’d saved money by joining the Wizz Discount Club.

I didn’t need to fly Wizz Air again over the next 12 months to ‘make back my investment’ into the Wizz Discount Club, but I did.

I flew solo from Luton to Budapest, which should have cost £26.99 but cost me £17.99 as a Wizz Discount Club member.

From Budapest, I then flew to Milan on a flight that should have cost 16,590 Hungarian Forint (around £36) but cost me 12,440 Hungarian Forint (around £27).

Before flying back from Milan to London Gatwick for €21.99 (around £19) on a flight that should have cost €31.99 (around £28)

As such, in one year, being a Wizz Discount Club Standard member saved me £31.50.
